I think more about what would have happened if I HAD done something. Like I look around me sometimes at school or church and I think "What if I actually had let my depression win, what if I had done what I was too afraid to do?" If I had done any of the things I had planned to do I would have never met the kids who pulled me up from darkness and threw me into the light. I would have never learned that happiness can be found in silence and in tears. That a broken heart isn't always a bad thing, and that sometimes perfection is imperfect.
